There some of people out there has just received a letter from Microsoft Internet Explorer Team about offering a chance to participate in a technical preview of the number one browser on earth, Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. While, Firefox, the greatest ever browser on planet just celebrated their 500 millions downloads last week. That’s why Microsoft has announce about the launch? I don’t know. I’m not an IE user.
Back to the point, the content of the letter said they are nearing the launch of Windows Explorer 8 Beta 1 and they will be making it available for the public to download it and test it. What i’m really thinking about this version is it’s more likely a Microsoft Office 2007. It has a big menu bar but there are still a lack of information about its features, security level and anything else. So, we have to wait.

The only way i was able to ever see the SP3 in update: fresh install of sp3, run the reg before doing any updates!. Run your updates. reboot, more updates, reboot, wash rinse repeat. Make sure to set windows update site to show betas before beginning any of the updates. 90 billion updates and a good 90 minutes later, SP3 will show as available for download.
The first two time, I saw SP3, but it failed to install. 4 more tries resulted in no SP3 showing. 5th time it showed, and the entire interface for the SP3 on update site was different than the first two attempts. The window to select it was different, the download progress window was different, everything was different from the first two attempts. I think someone forgot a line of code or something when it was first announced and after a flood of forum posts, the download problem was fixed.
SP3 from this source is build 3311 .
Download the script and run it on a machine currently running Windows XP Service Pack 2. The script sets a registry key on your system. The registry key is required for Windows Update to recognize your machine as a valid target for Windows XP Service Pack 3 RC2.

Proof that we are all Apple fanboys in our core (pun definitely intended), the Apple Live Messenger skin is currently the third most popular skin on the Messenger Plus! Live website, with over 200,000 downloads.
Recently, msnPLUS has added custom skins to its list of enhancements, and Apple Live Messenger (ALM) is one of the most popular skins. Its racked up over 200,000 downloads since its launch in December 07, and is the third most popular WLM skin! The other two are a Vista Ultimate theme, and one called Ev0.
Installing the skin requires Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live, both free downloads. In case you’re not familiar, Messenger Plus! Live is a popular add-on for Windows Live Messenger that adds a number of features and extras to the software.

Update: Microsoft has removed the Vista SP1 download from their OEM site and posted a message stating SP1 will be available on February 22, 2008.

Microsoft isn’t expected to officially release the update to end users until March. But Microsoft has already posted a disc image on its OEM partner site, and if you know where to look you can download it today.
The disc image weighs in at 1.2GB and must be used to perform a clean install of Windows Vista SP1. In other words, you cannot use it to update your system and retain your files and settings. We’d recommend waiting until Microsoft pushes SP1 out through Windows Update if you’re not ready to do a clean install.
Microsoft’s servers are being hammered at the moment from people attempting to download SP1, so don’t expect a speedy download. In fact, if you start downloading today you might not have the full disc image until March anyway.
so, here the Windows Vista SP1 Update Image .(32-Bit & 64-Bit)(Download removed until Feb. 22)

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates has stopped using the Web site Facebook, the most damning indictment in a week full of bad press for social-networking technology.
Social-networking Web sites, which help people share and find information about one another, were supposed to change the way people use the Internet and the way we work. But lately, all we’re hearing about are the problems.
Workers who created profiles on Facebook are horrified to find out they can’t be erased, the New York Times reports. Even if you deactivate your account, Facebook still keeps a copy of all the information you ever posted. And, the Times reports, it’s still possible to contact people through deleted Facebook pages.
