There some of people out there has just received a letter from Microsoft Internet Explorer Team about offering a chance to participate in a technical preview of the number one browser on earth, Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. While, Firefox, the greatest ever browser on planet just celebrated their 500 millions downloads last week. That’s why Microsoft has announce about the launch? I don’t know. I’m not an IE user.
Back to the point, the content of the letter said they are nearing the launch of Windows Explorer 8 Beta 1 and they will be making it available for the public to download it and test it. What i’m really thinking about this version is it’s more likely a Microsoft Office 2007. It has a big menu bar but there are still a lack of information about its features, security level and anything else. So, we have to wait.

Run some Greasemonkey scripts with Internet Explorer 6

Friday, April 27th, 2007 |

TurnaboutOdds are if you know what Greasemonkey is, you’re not run running Internet Explorer, or at least not Internet Explorer 6. But if for some reason you’re using IE6 and want the ability to run scripts that change the appearance of web pages on your browser, you might want to check out Turnabout.

The program comes loaded with a couple of useful scripts, including Ad Blocker for hiding ads on web sites, Book Burro for comparison shopping when looking at books, and Bug Me Not for skipping the registration process on certain websites.

You can also use Turnabout to run a number of other scripts although there’s no guarantee that they’ll work with Internet Explorer.
