Download Vista SP1 more early

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008 |

Update: Microsoft has removed the Vista SP1 download from their OEM site and posted a message stating SP1 will be available on February 22, 2008.

download vista sp1 more early

If you can wait more, you can download the service pack 1 of vista more early. share to your friends about it. here how you gonna make it happen.

Microsoft isn’t expected to officially release the update to end users until March. But Microsoft has already posted a disc image on its OEM partner site, and if you know where to look you can download it today.

The disc image weighs in at 1.2GB and must be used to perform a clean install of Windows Vista SP1. In other words, you cannot use it to update your system and retain your files and settings. We’d recommend waiting until Microsoft pushes SP1 out through Windows Update if you’re not ready to do a clean install.

Microsoft’s servers are being hammered at the moment from people attempting to download SP1, so don’t expect a speedy download. In fact, if you start downloading today you might not have the full disc image until March anyway.

so, here the Windows Vista SP1 Update Image .(32-Bit & 64-Bit)(Download removed until Feb. 22)

Create your Windows Shortcut with “Tooler”

Saturday, April 14th, 2007 |

Tooler

Tooler is a unique program that allows you to create special type of shortcuts. What’s so special about them ? They have all features of the typical shortcuts, so you can move them, rename them, or change their icons. But they also allow you to easy accomplish such tasks like turning off the monitor, restarting your PC or ejecting selected CD-ROM tray. This program is very easy to use, requires no installation and the exe file has only 50KB - so you can take it wherever you’ll need it.

Download of the Day: Tweak VI (Windows)

Friday, April 13th, 2007 |

tweak%20vi.pngWindows Vista only: Tweak, optimize and enhance Vista with Tweak VI, a free utility.

The software provides a wealth of tools for messing with Vista’s guts, including a boot-configuration manager, a CPU optimizer, browser-settings managers and tons more. I particularly like the addition of Windows-shutdown and -restart icons to both the desktop and Quick Launch toolbar. Granted, the freeware version gets you only so far; fully half the features require you to subscribe to one of the premium versions. But for anyone who links to tinker with Windows and wants easy access to various Vista underpinnings, Tweak VI Basic is a great place to start. That version is free; it requires Windows Vista.
